What a beautiful world it would be if we all treated each other as if we were gods.

Not in the ego-driven sense of power-hungry or superior—but in the quiet, reverent way that recognizes the divine spark in every soul. Including our own.

This isn’t just a dreamy sentiment. It’s a truth echoed across time and tradition that many faiths have voiced.

“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”— 1 Corinthians 3:16

“I am the Self, O Gudakesha, seated in the hearts of all creatures.”— Bhagavad Gita 10:20

“We are closer to [man] than his jugular vein.”— Qur’an 50:16

“The One Lord is within all, and by His Light, all are enlightened.”— Guru Granth Sahib, Ang 1429

“All beings have Buddha-nature.”— Mahayana Buddhist Teaching.

The miracle of this human experience, the breath in your lungs, the sunlight filtering through trees, the way your heart aches at beauty or breaks open at kindness is nothing short of sacred.

But how often do we miss it?

We hurry. We judge. We compare. We protect ourselves from pain by closing off to the wonder. We become strangers to our own souls and forget that every person we pass is also carrying a story, a struggle, a longing to be seen, held, and to be accepted, Loved.

What if we paused?

What if we genuinely noticed the miracle in the mundane? The softness of your morning breath. The warmth in someone’s eyes. The resilience of nature.

What if, in every encounter, we asked ourselves: What if this moment is holy?

When we see the sacred in each other, everything shifts.

We listen to understand, not to win.We offer grace instead of judgment. We slow down enough to experience the awe in small moments and the courage it takes just to be human.

A 7-Day Invitation

If this message stirred something in you, let it move you.

This week, take the Challenge and begin a quiet revolution of loving kindness and reverence.

Speak to yourself each morning as if you are sacred.

Begin your day with kindness. A gentle affirmation. A breath of high esteem and warm regard.

Treat every person you encounter as if the divine lives within them.

Make eye contact. Offer compassion. Assume they, like you, are doing their best.

Pause for awe.

Notice the sunlight. The stillness. The mystery of being alive. Let nature be your teacher.

Share one act of loving kindness each day.

A note. A compliment. A smile,  a simple offering of grace.

Reflect and share using #SacredEncounters.

Post a photo, a moment, or a thought.

Let each of our droplets of awareness ripple this movement around the globe.

We Are Not Separate. We Are Sacred. Together.

Maybe we can’t fix everything. But we can return to this truth repeatedly.

We are living miracles. And when we remember that everything is perfect in ourselves and in each other.

Let’s begin with this moment.

One breath.

One choice.

One sacred encounter at a time.
